Newbury Library Board approves January meeting minutes and reviews director's report with budget on track. Director Haley Hart reported robust January 2026 attendance and participation, with strong programs including Monarch Gardeners, snow globe crafts, ukulele instruction, and digital art. The library acquired Beanstack to track participant activity in sponsored reading programs.
With 60 percent of fiscal 2026 spending completed, budget expenditures remain on track, though facility issues including roof icicles delaying ultraviolet cling installation and an ongoing alarm-system error code persist. Next meeting is March 10, 2026.
