Conservation Commission approves permit extension for Parker River dock
Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 20, 2026
Newbury Conservation Commission approves permit extension for Parker River dock project. The five-member board unanimously approved a one-year extension for a seasonal dock at 254 Middle Road, allowing the applicant time to address discrepancies from a prior certificate of compliance review. Chair Bob Connors, Vice-Chair Mary Rimmer, and members Woody Knight, David Clifford, and Harry Trout voted 5-0.
The commission continued four permit applications to February 3: parking and boat ramp work at 291 High Road, boardwalk expansion at 45 Boston Road, golf course maintenance at Ould Newbury Golf Club, and MBTA housing development at 34 Central Street. Conservation Agent Mason Ferrick updated the board on Larkin Dam restoration events scheduled for March 17 and June 11.
