All six commission members were present, including newest member Dana Packer, as the board approved July's minutes with two minor corrections and accepted Treasurer Lon Hachmeister's verbal report on the commission's fiscal 2027 budget. Members also reviewed ongoing work at the historic Schoolhouse, where recently completed exterior painting was noted, while flagging remaining maintenance needs including repairs to the front stairs, fire alarm system updates, and trimming a tree at the building's rear to prevent wildlife damage to the soffits.
