Newbury Conservation Commission Grants Continuances to All Four Active Wetland Hearings
Conservation · Meeting of March 3, 2026
Newbury Conservation Commission continued all four active wetland permit hearings to April 7 at a 17-minute remote meeting March 3. Conservation Agent Mason Ferrick reported that the Old Newbury Golf Club tee box relocation case (DEP 50-1455) and a boardwalk expansion at 45 Boston Road (DEP 50-1460) both await snowmelt before site walks can proceed, while the MBTA residential housing redevelopment at 34 Central Street (DEP 50-1453) must complete a fresh abutter notification round before returning to the board. Chair Mary Rimmer abstained from the 45 Boston Road vote, disclosing she is a direct abutter.
Ferrick also confirmed that a previously approved bond reduction for Borrego Solar had been formally completed, with paperwork received just before the meeting.
