Newbury home sales span $700,000 to $1.85 million in late-summer deed filings

Fifteen properties sold in Newbury from Aug. 14 to Sept. 12, per Essex County (Southern District) Registry of Deeds records. Disclosed prices, covering nine of the 15 sales, ranged from $700,000 to $1,850,000, with a median of $1,350,000. Two properties, 112 Middle Road and 23 Rolfes Lane, tied for the period's top sale at $1,850,000 each. Fruit Street and School Street each recorded two transfers. Six of the 15 sales listed no price, and a trust appeared on at least one side of 10 transactions, several within the same family. The data shows a broad price spread with no single tier dominating.
