Newbury Home Sales Top Out at $1.85 Million in Late-Summer Deed Filings
Newbury recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5. Of the nine sales with disclosed prices, values ranged from $700,000 to $1,850,000, with a median of $1,120,000. Two properties, 112 Middle Rd Pcl 1 and 23 Rolfes Ln Lot 18, each sold for the period's high of $1,850,000. Six of the 15 recorded deeds listed no sale price, and several of those were transfers within the same family or into a personal trust rather than open-market sales. Trusts appeared as buyer, seller, or both in 11 of the 15 transactions recorded during the period.
