Human Resources · Meeting of March 23, 2026
NEWBURY — Human Resources Board reviews $25,000 Reserve Compensation Fund warrant language for town meeting. The board examined the proposal presented by Mark Gleckman, which would establish a fund authorized by the Town Administrator with Selectboard approval and Human Resources Board acting in an advisory role. Detailed rationale and examples of cases where such funds would have been used will be provided to town meeting voters.
Unused funds at the fiscal year end would close out, and future appropriations would require approval through the standard budget process. The draft warrant advances to the Selectboard and Finance Committee for review on March 24, 2026.
