Newbury HR Board addresses staffing updates, vacancies, and Reserve Compensation proposal. Chair Mark Gleckman presided over the board's meeting with five of six members present, as Patty Fisher was excused. The board received updates on several personnel actions, including a filled DPW Equipment Operator/Laborer position, a firefighter vacancy filled internally by Brian Snell as of March 2, two open Police Department patrolman positions, and a Harbormaster Helper vacancy.
The board also reviewed Reserve Compensation Fund language prepared for Town Meeting warrant consideration, with next steps including review by Town Counsel and approval by the Selectboard and Finance Committee.
