Newbury Library Board of Trustees unanimously extends directorship offer to Alia Colburn. At a special July 1 meeting, three Trustees voted to offer Colburn the director position, which she accepted. Melissa Mashburn and Alex Burke attended in person; Terry Litterst participated remotely from a rehabilitation facility.
Trustees Patti Olsen and Chair Dick Passeri were absent. Burke, acting as Chair, presided over the vote. The board then entered executive session to negotiate the terms and conditions of Colburn's employment as Director.
