Newbury's Top Sale Hits $1 Million as Family Trust Transfers Dominate Filings
Newbury recorded 14 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, but only five deeds disclosed a sale price, ranging from $580,000 to $1 million, with a median of $700,000. The period's top sale was a condominium unit at 7 Exeter Way, Lot 13, which sold for $1 million on July 30. Half of all recorded transfers, seven of 14, were between family members or into a self-named trust, none with a disclosed price, a pattern common in estate planning. No street had more than one sale, and six transfers involved condominium or multi-unit lots. With most sale prices undisclosed, the data provides a limited view of pricing trends this period.
