NEWBURY — Open Space Committee adds water quality focus to draft open space plan. The committee, meeting June 17 via Zoom, live-edited the draft Action Plan and added Objective 3.6 to study water quality in Newbury's waterways and enhance water-based recreation. Chair Bill Hoffman, Clerk Mike Carbone, Members Christina Hoffman and Jim Dooling attended; Member Sean McElroy was absent.
The committee will continue reviewing remaining objectives at its next meeting.
