NEWBURY — Open Space Committee advances draft plan toward regional review. The committee approved the prior meeting's minutes and received a compiled draft of the Open Space and Resource Plan (OSRP) from Assistant Planner Sadie Woodward, with Sections 6 and 7 still requiring substantial additional work. Planning Director Kristen Grubbs discussed updates to the town's assessor database and MIMAP online map viewer.
Committee Chair Bill Hoffman and member Christina Hoffman briefed the committee on the Riverbank Revival event set for March 17, a collaborative project to plant native species along the Parker River following the fall 2025 removal of the historic Larkin Dam.
