Newbury Select Board approves first building-fee increase in decade. Chair William DiMaio and the Board unanimously approved the first increase in Town Building fees in ten years, which had been frozen since 2016. The Board also unanimously appointed Michael Volpone to the Finance Committee for a three-year term effective July 1, 2026, after Volpone addressed the members.

The Board approved six short-term rental permits and delegated its response to an Open Meeting Law complaint filed by Jack Rybicki on April 22 to Town Counsel.
