Newbury Planning Board approves Sunset Club pavilion, continues Central Street subdivision hearing. The board voted 4-1 to approve as-built modifications and a new 40-by-40-foot pavilion at the Sunset Club, with member Stephen Mangion voting against. A two-lot subdivision hearing at 15 Central Street was continued to April 15 after public comments raised traffic-safety concerns at the Church and Central Street intersection.
The board also discussed water-supply and site-compliance questions for applications at 170 Orchard Street and 84 Boston Road, both pending further staff work and outside approvals.
