Newbury Sees Two $1.85 Million Sales Lead September Property Transfers
Newbury recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 21 and Sept. 19, with eight carrying a sale price so far. Prices ranged from $700,000 to $1,850,000, with a median of $1,297,500. Two properties, one on Middle Road and one on Rolfes Lane, tied for the period's highest sale at $1,850,000 each. Fruit Street and School Street each saw two transactions, and High Road recorded a same-day, same-family trust transfer on two adjoining addresses. Seven of the 15 deeds have not yet posted a sale price in registry data, five of which appear to be transfers within the same family or trust.
